You want to take a Rotopax with you, but you're not keen on drilling out the body of your vehicle to mount the Rotopax bracket? The other solution would be to install a carrier on the roof of your vehicle or on the rear doors, but that's bulky.
We have a very functional and aesthetic solution for you!
We advertise this product as a rotopax mount, but in reality we spent countless hours coming up with a design that is not just a useless pattern of holes in an aluminum plate, but a plate with thoughtful cuts that allow you to use it however you want, use two plates and carry shovels and other accessories, or even carry small pieces of wood to build a fire in the desert.
We designed this product in Switzerland, we bought the aluminum here, we cut it here, and we painted each plate by hand, twice, to ensure a durable coating.
Scope of delivery:
the milled aluminum plate, double powder-coated*, is highly scratch-resistant.
with 4 magnets with specially designed joints, you can install it on uneven surfaces.
*The powder coating is a plastic powder that is sprayed onto the aluminum plate and then baked in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius. This creates a solid plastic shell around the panel that best protects the metal.
Maximum weight capacity: 2 gallons.
Four (4) rubberized magnets, each with a force of 50 kg (110 lbs), for a total force of 200 kg, 440 lbs.
Diameter of the magnets: 90 mm (3.54 inches), height of the product: 95 mm (3.74 inches), 260 g (0.51 lbs)
Which vehicle is this kit compatible with?
The quickest way to find out if the magnets will work with your vehicle is to try a kitchen magnet. Generally, it will work with any vehicle that is not made of aluminum; Land Rovers and new Ford Broncos are aluminum, so the magnets will not stick to those bodies.
