We have developed the perfect solution for securing your Thule Omnistor: Magnetic Footrests!
Normally you'd have to poke the feet into the ground, which, let's face it, is both time consuming and can easily be pulled out with a bit of wind. Or you could get a vacuum system, but the new popular system is not as strong as you need as it is not a sophisticated system like the Seasucker vacuum with pump, these magnets have a strength of 55 kg, 17 kg displacement force, which is 10% more strength than the most popular vacuums.
The great thing about this magnetic mount is that you can leave it outside all year round due to its compact size, so you can have your awning ready for use in no time at all!
We have combined the use of our iconic magnets with the nylon brackets with carbon fiber inserts specially developed for the Thule Omnistor feet.
Why nylon CF and not PET CF? As the uprights need to be able to move up and down to accommodate the feet of the awning, nylon has better mechanical properties than PET CF, which has the advantage of supporting extremely high temperatures and chemical resistance.
Manufacturing process
Our products are manufactured using the latest 3D printing technology and the highest quality materials available. However, due to the nature of this manufacturing process, there may be small imperfections, such as visible layers or slight waviness in the material. Please note that we will carefully sort out any items with visible imperfections and only ship those that meet our quality standards. It is important to remember that these are not plastic injection molded parts, which are known for their flawless appearance.
Which vehicle is this kit compatible with?
The quickest way to find out if the magnets will work with your vehicle is to try a kitchen magnet. Generally, they will work with any vehicle that is not made of aluminum; Land Rovers and new Ford Broncos are aluminum, so the magnets will not stick to those bodies.
